Victoria Kingsbury, LMT, BCTMB
Victoria is a Board Certified Massage Therapist and a graduate from Boulder College of Massage Therapy with over 1000 hours of training in massage and bodywork. Board Certification requires fulfilling additional qualifications, including more education, hands-on experience and a background check. Therapists achieving this credential have the proper foundation to better serve their clients and demonstrate a commitment to raising the standards of the profession that have remained stagnant for the past 20 years. Achievement of Board Certification is the highest attainable credential level in the profession.
She is licensed by the State of Colorado and has practiced in conjunction with chiropractors and physical therapists since 2009, She works with a wide variety of clients, treating patients with conditions ranging from headaches and neck tension to arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and fibromyalgia. She utilizes a variety of modalities, including deep tissue massage, Shiatsu and passive stretching to assist her clients in relieving stress related tension, reducing chronic pain and correcting musculoskeletal dysfunction.She combines deeper techniques with subtle, gentle techniques that allow the body to relax.
She feels that refining and expanding my skills is very important, and I have completed Continuing Education classes on a number of subjects, including prenatal massage and the unique clinical needs of fibromyalgia patients.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family (both two-legged and four-legged), as well as photography, reading, cooking and traveling.
