Dr. Christy Kohler, DPT (pictured on left) is an uber experienced physical therapist who has been in practice in a variety of sports medicine outpatient settings since 2003. She has a unique interest in running, post surgical, and post partum physical therapy. Christy is uniquely trained in manual therapy and dry needling for chronic facet joint origin low back pain in patients not having sciatica. She is also the former physical therapist for the US Figure Skating National Team.
Christy and her husband recently re-located to the Boulder area from Colorado Springs where she practiced in a similar sports medicine clinic. She is the mother of two young children and a life long runner.
Tori Slominski, MT (pictured on right) is our new massage therapist. She is a graduated of Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 2012 and specializes in deep tissue massage including trigger point work, myofascial release, and neuromuscular re-education. She completed additional training and internship last year in Cusco, Peru. Her recreational interests include climbing and yoga. Tori has been a substitute therapist in the past for our clinic and we are pleased that she is now joining us full time!
